I was just like you - a recovering people-pleaser & abuse survivor working a corporate office job in a major city (Austin, Texas for me!) - a job that was comfortable & paid the bills. I was seemingly “successful” on the outside, but secretly rotting away on the inside 💀 as I sat in my grey cubicle in a cold room with barely any windows, pretending to be * professional *, all while hearing my soul scream from a place deep inside of me:
“I’m meant for so much more!!!!!”
The longer I stayed stagnant in this job while taking zero action to start my dream online business, the more my disconnection from my creativity, joy, self-expression & aliveness became unbearable. The “comfort” of a “secure” job was starting to feel not comfortable at all.
Honestly… the job I had was easy, remote, flexible & it paid well - so the thought of giving it up felt super scary.
But the reality was, despite its simplicity & perks, it was still SO draining that when I got home from work, the last thing I wanted to do was more work - not even something fun or creative. ALL I could find the capacity for was doing drugs & drinking craft beer amongst my surface-level friendships… while feeling paranoid I’d run into my boss while fucked up & get fired.
Cue: more feelings of disconnection, numbness & inauthenticity. I felt dead inside.
Fast forward to one random morning in January 2020…
The moment that changed everything…
January 2020: I woke up with the greatest clarity I’ve ever experienced to this day:
💭 “I’m done. I can’t take another day. I’m ready to quit. I’m ready for more.”
Suddenly, what used to feel absolutely terrifying alchemized into the deepest peace: I had no plan for the future, but that deep, deep knowing in my heart that this was the right decision for me felt incredibly reassuring. 🙏🏽
I put in my 2 weeks that morning.
And then… the next few years as a brand new entrepreneur were an absolutely wild ride. 😂

Who am I?
My name is Indigo Marigold - I’m a former corporate world environmental engineer turned self-employed spirit-led business mentor for online coaches.
After quitting my corporate job spontaneously in January 2020, taking a leap of faith into the unknown… I sure did face a lot of unknown. 😂
My first online business was illustration & brand design, and without an understanding of practical business skills, coupled with a fiery resistance to anything practical that reminded me too much of “the matrix,” I floundered for my first 2.5 years of entrepreneurship.
But I REFUSED to believe my dreams were impossible, so this catapulted me into a mission to crack the code on how business skills can be practical AND magical, too.
Coming from the lens of a free-spirited nomad (I was a full-time van lifer at the time!) who just wanted to *manifest* everything, I meticulously studied the intersection of business, spirituality, authenticity & quantum energetics and devoted my path to figuring out a way to do business that makes a lot of money AND feels really resonant in the hearts of kindhearted people like me.
And that I did!! I went from hustling to sell $18 art prints to selling high-ticket services that enabled me to make a much more meaningful impact in peoples lives AND get paid $2K to $13K+ per client.
Now I’m living my dream life as a full-time artist & coach, being my own boss, experiencing ultimate time/location/creative freedom and doing work that fulfills me to the core.
